Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Independent Rater (CIR) who will review scales in clinical trials, ensure standardized assessment practices, and guide raters on methodology and scoring. This remote/virtual position requires a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of psychiatric assessment experience.

The CIR will participate in orientation and calibration, engage in live discussions with raters, and assist with communication materials and documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (psychiatry/psychology/social work).
• Minimum 3 years administering psychiatric assessments and rating scales.
• Experience with structured interviews (MINI, MADRS) is preferred.
• Fluency in English and native-level French required.

Responsibilities

• Review scales and ensure standardized assessment practices.
• Provide guidance on methodology and scoring to raters during live discussions.
• Support rater performance through functional assessments (e.g., mock interviews).
• Prepare and review case data and required documentation for rater discussions.
• Submit tasks and documentation accurately and on time.
