Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (OHSEP) is seeking a PT Emergency Transportation Coordinator. The role focuses on coordinating evacuation transportation resources, overseeing contracted school bus drivers, and maintaining readiness outside emergencies.

During activations, the incumbent will deploy transportation resources to ensure safe, efficient evacuations for Terrebonne Parish residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of evacuation procedures, emergency coordination, or public safety preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate evacuation transportation operations during emergencies.
• Oversee contracted school bus drivers and schedules.
• Maintain transportation readiness during non-emergency periods.
• Lead deployment of transportation resources during activations to evacuate residents.
• Assist with training and supporting staff during drills and real events.
