Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd in Paris is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead the HR function for a fast-paced, multi-site operation with a large frontline workforce.

This role combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on field presence, overseeing payroll, HR systems, employee relations, and labour relations across the Greater Paris region.

You will manage a capable HR team, steer union engagements, and drive HR process improvements, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HR Director or senior HR leader managing a large multi-site workforce.
• Strong background in retail, hospitality, or high-volume frontline environments.
• Solid knowledge of French employment law and payroll oversight.
• Experience leading NAO negotiations and works council management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and energise an HR team of ~15, including senior HR specialists and managers.
• Provide strategic HR leadership across headquarters and field/kiosk populations.
• Oversee payroll delivery, payroll provider relationships and HRIS systems.
• Drive HR processes, policies and change management across the organisation.
• Lead HR workstreams related to integration, negotiations and compliance.
