Job summary

Deezer's Finance department is offering a 6-month General Accounting internship in Paris starting February 2027. You will handle day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to monthly closings under the supervision of the Senior General Accountant.

This internship provides exposure to treasury management, VAT reconciliations, and process improvements, with a focus on accuracy, autonomy, and collaboration in a fast-paced music tech environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Master's degree specialized in Accounting, Finance, or Audit
• Fluent in French with a good level of English (written and spoken)
• Excel is second nature; experience with Sage or another ERP/accounting tool is a strong plus
• Demonstrates rigor, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities and deadlines
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team
• First experience in an accounting or finance role (internship or apprenticeship) helpful but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Daily accounting: assist with daily accounting entries and supporting documentation
• Monthly closings: assist with closing tasks of each period per closing calendar
• Treasury management: perform bank reconciliations and monitor treasury operations
• Tax and audit support: assist with VAT reconciliations and submissions
• Continuous improvement: help document and optimize accounting processes and internal controls
• 6-month internship based in Paris, mandatory
