Job summary

SeaOwl Group seeks a senior SPS/UFR engineer for the GranMorgu project based in Paris, France, with periodic missions to Suriname and SPS contractor facilities. This resident role requires extensive engineering and project management experience in SPS & UFR hardware and fabrication.

You will oversee troubleshooting, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and support change-order processes while ensuring alignment with project timelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 20 years of professional experience.
• 10+ years in SPS & UFR engineering.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Oversee troubleshooting of SPS & UFR engineering and testing issues to align with project schedule.
• Monitor Contractors’ performance and manage risk with action plans.
• Coordinate with D&C, UFR and Field Operations; ensure interface alignment across work packages.
• Assist with mobilisation of SPS equipment and tooling; support component integration and offshore installation.
• Prepare technical parts of change-order dossiers for approvals.
• Report concerns to Subsea Manager and capture lessons learned.
