- Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour regarding Company Ethics and the “Code of Conduct” policy, and promote and enforce the Anti-Corruption Program in force.
- Oversee troubleshooting of major and non-routine technical and project management problems related to engineering, qualification, fabrication and testing of Subsea equipment, ensuring that related investigations, studies and works remain compatible with the project schedule. Investigate and diagnose problems, and propose mitigation and/or remedial actions, technical solutions and action plans in accordance with SPS and UFR technical requirements.
- Monitor Contractors’ performance against project KPIs, identify Subsea onshore and offshore project risks, and ensure development and implementation of risk-response action plans and capitalization of potential opportunities.
- Actively promote the above action plans, follow their progress and support their implementation with the Technical Leader and all Discipline Engineers, as well as the Contractor’s Engineering and fabrication team.
- Liaise with other Project Work Package teams, including D&C (Drilling & Completion), UFR (Umbilical, Flowlines and Risers) and Field Operations, as well as Corporate Specialists for specific subjects.
- Support the SPS & UFR qualification / testing / tooling / tie-in leader and ensure related work and testing are completed satisfactorily within a timeframe compatible with the project schedule.
- Work in liaison with the Project Control team and be responsible for the technical evaluation of change orders and consolidation of claim / counterclaim dossiers. Prepare the technical part of change-order dossiers to be submitted for Partners’ and Concessionaire approval.
- Proactively support interface follow-up activities and contribute to their resolution across all work packages and contracts related to SPS.
- Assist with mobilisation of SPS equipment and tooling required for component integration, onshore operation and offshore installation.
- Report any areas of concern to the Subsea Manager.
- Gather lessons learned and provide feedback as required.
Project context
In October 2024, TotalEnergies announced the Final Investment Decision for the GranMorgu development on Block 58 in Suriname. This deep offshore oil project aims to develop nearly 700 million barrels of reserves, with the FPSO unit expected to start production in 2028. The multidisciplinary GranMorgu project team, managed by TotalEnergies E&P, coordinates development studies to optimize reserves, schedule, costs and GHG emissions while maintaining high technical quality and H3SE standards. GranMorgu exemplifies TotalEnergies’ transition strategy, focusing on economic and social impact in Suriname and minimizing greenhouse gas emissions.
As a flagship project for TotalEnergies, GranMorgu requires support to enhance its reputation and awareness.
