SCOR is seeking a hands-on Claim Expert to manage high-exposure bodily injury claims across France and Belux. The role involves audits, market and client visits, liaising with underwriters, actuaries, and accounting staff, and reviewing loss portfolios. Travel may be required.

Based in Paris, the position reports to the Head of Reinsurance P&C France/Belux claims & Specialty lines. Strong English skills and tech comfort are essential.

Qualifications

• Min 7 years of experience in large bodily injury claim handling.
• Expertise in managing a caseload of complex claims.
• Ability to manage, organise and analyse data.
• Represents SCOR’s interests with underwriters and internal stakeholders.
• Comfort with technology; proficient in main Office software.
• Strong organisational skills with deadlines met consistently.
• High level of accountability within the team.

Responsabilités

• Approving financial transactions on claims within authority, evaluating liability and reserves.
• Manage the lifecycle of a claim to optimise outcomes, including reserves and market meetings.
• Collaborate with assigned accounts and provide marketing support to cedents/brokers.
• Develop ability to analyse loss and expense trends on bodily injury claims.
• Stay abreast of claim and industry developments to maintain expertise.
• Assist in developing and implementing plans to improve results.
• Participate in projects as required.
