SCOR in Paris is seeking a hands-on Claim Expert to manage high-exposure bodily injury claims across France and Belux. You will conduct outside claim audits, engage with underwriters, actuaries and accounting staff, and help set reserves and settlements.

The role blends field and desk work with a strong digital focus; some meetings can be remote, but travel will be required from time to time. You will report to the Head of Reinsurance P&C France/Belux claims & Specialty lines.

Qualifications

• Min 7 years of experience in large bodily injury claim handling.
• Expertise in managing a caseload of complex claims.
• Ability to analyze data and assess reserves.
• Advanced level of English (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Approving financial transactions on claims within authority.
• Manage the lifecycle of a claim to optimal outcomes, reserves, third parties.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and providing marketing support relating to cedents, insured and brokers.
• Developing ability to analyse loss and expense trends on Bodily injury claims.
• Keeping abreast of claim and industry developments/trends.
• Assisting in development and implementation of plans to improve results.
• Participating in projects as required.
