Job summary

Deezer, based in Paris, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to own end-to-end invoicing and cash forecasting, coordinate month-end close, and strengthen internal controls in an international environment.

The role requires advanced Excel skills, ERP (Sage 1000) experience, and the ability to coach a trainee. Fluent English is essential; hybrid work policy applies and Paris office access is available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in accounting or financial operations with invoicing and cash management exposure.
• Experience with month-end close in an international environment.
• Strong understanding of entries, reconciliations, accruals and controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and process automation experience; ERP knowledge essential.
• Fluent English with clear written and verbal communication; ability to coach a trainee.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end invoicing from accounting prep to payment follow-up.
• Manage and consolidate cash forecast; enhance dashboard and analyze variances.
• Coordinate closing activities; review entries, reconciliations, accruals.
• Develop and maintain internal controls; document evidence and action plans.
• Improve working files and recurring processes; supervise a trainee.
• Prepare and file quarterly WHT return; validate underlying certificates.
