Datadog is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Sensitive Data Scanner Telemetry team in Paris. You will guide real-time detection across Logs, APM, and RUM telemetry pipelines while shaping product direction with senior stakeholders.

You will stay hands-on, participate in design and on-call rotations, and recruit and grow engineers as the team expands. This role blends technical leadership with customer and product impact in security and observability.

Qualifications

• Experience building revenue-generating products and strong product acumen.
• Hands-on experience with Go and/or Java, and distributed, streaming systems at scale.
• Experience managing engineers or readiness to step into formal management, with ability to set goals and give feedback.

Responsabilités

• Lead and grow a team of engineers building real-time sensitive data detection across Datadog's telemetry pipelines.
• Partner with Logs, APM, RUM, and Trust & Safety teams to align roadmaps and priorities.
• Shape product direction by working with Product and grounding decisions in customer needs and business impact.
• Stay hands-on with design decisions and participate in on-call rotations.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers as the team grows.
• Foster a strong engineering culture within the SDS Telemetry group.
