Datadog's Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) group is expanding, with a Director-level role based in Paris. You will own engineering for one or more DEM areas, manage 50–60 engineers through a layer of Engineering Managers, and shape the roadmap with product leadership.

You will drive AI adoption across tooling, workflows, and product features. You will collaborate across DEM, APM, Core Platform, AI Platform, and Data Science to build scalable systems and mentor leaders toward Director

Qualifications

• Directly managed Engineering Managers is required.
• Experience embedding AI into engineering practices.
• Background with large-scale backend systems and APIs.
• English proficiency for an international team; Paris-based or relocate.
