Summary:

The Paramedic Emergency Medical Services is responsible for administering appropriate emergency medical treatment to injured individuals or those with medical conditions. Must be able to operate an advanced life support ambulance, assist with inspection of the ambulance and equipment to ensure proper operation and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

1. Respond to life-threatening, emergency, and non-emergency medical situations.
2. Coordinate with physicians to develop patient care plans based on assessments.
3. Lead responders in triage, treatment, and patient transport preparation.
4. Ensure emergency medical equipment and vehicles are functioning properly and stocked.
5. Assist in station cleaning and maintenance.
6. Interact with emergency personnel such as firefighters and law enforcement.
7. Complete administrative tasks, including documentation and paperwork.
8. Handle hazardous materials safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations.
9. Respond to mass casualty incidents and disasters, providing medical oversight and triage.
10. Participate in training and certification updates.
11. Operate ambulance and medical response equipment effectively.
12. Make decisions aligned with company policies and legal requirements.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
