Job summary

Mars' Royal Canin division seeks a Packaging Development Manager - Paper Packaging to own recyclable paper bag solutions from concept through industrial deployment. Based at our Aimargues campus, you will lead cross-functional teams and partner with suppliers to deliver sustainable packaging that meets production KPIs.

The role requires hands-on experience with paper-based packaging, risk management, and a Packaging Engineering degree; English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in paper-based packaging materials and barrier paper packaging.
• Experience with medium to large packaging formats and multiwall bags.
• Strong risk management and qualification protocols experience.
• Packaging Engineering degree (or Master) required.
• Fluency in English and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end paper packaging development from concept to industrial deployment.
• Define and execute supplier qualification and sustainability requirements.
• Oversee line trials and testing standards to ensure robustness.
• Share technical expertise across global R&D networks.
