RAW Resourcing is supporting an established marine organization in Marseille with the appointment of an experienced Paint Supervisor. This hands-on role oversees blasting, surface preparation, painting and coating activities across live vessel repair projects, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.

You will lead day-to-day painting activities in the shipyard, coordinate teams and subcontractors, plan resources, monitor progress and ensure compliance with shipyard safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in ship repair, shipbuilding or marine coatings.
• Knowledge of blasting, surface prep, painting and protective coatings.
• Experience supervising teams and subcontractors in a shipyard.
• Good understanding of HSE and quality requirements.

Responsabilités

• Supervise blasting, surface prep, painting and coating across vessel repair projects.
• Coordinate painters, blasters, subcontractors and other personnel.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment and daily activities.
• Monitor progress against vessel schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure surface preparation and coating application meets required specifications.
• Coordinate closely with Ship Repair Managers, Project Managers and other production departments.
• Monitor productivity, quality and workmanship throughout project execution.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and shipyard safety requirements.
• Identify operational issues and help resolve problems during project execution.
• Support the successful delivery of projects within agreed quality, cost and schedule requirements.

RAW Resourcing is supporting an established marine organization in Marseille with the appointment of an experienced Paint Supervisor.

We are looking for someone with strong experience supervising blasting, surface preparation, painting and coating activities within a shipyard or marine environment.

This is a hands-on production position, taking responsibility for the safe, efficient and high-quality execution of paint and coating works across live vessel repair projects.

THE ROLE

You will supervise day-to-day painting, blasting and coating activities within the shipyard, coordinating teams and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supervise blasting, surface preparation, painting and coating activities across vessel repair projects
• Coordinate painters, blasters, subcontractors and other personnel
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment and daily work activities
• Monitor project progress against vessel schedules and deadlines
• Ensure surface preparation and coating application meets required specifications

THE PERSON

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong experience within ship repair, shipbuilding or marine coatings
• Good knowledge of blasting, surface preparation, painting and protective coating systems
• Experience supervising teams and subcontractors within a shipyard environment
• Strong understanding of HSE and quality requirements
• Ability to work effectively within tight vessel repair and docking schedules
• Willingness to relocate to or work in Marseille, France
