• Translate creative concepts, sketches, and 3D visuals into detailed technical drawings and manufacturing-ready files.
• Develop products across packaging, beauty, promotional gifting, accessories, and retail merchandising.

• Review samples, identify technical challenges, and implement improvements for quality.

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Technical Designer with a strong background in industrial design, product development, and graphic design.

Working closely with Creative, Product Development, and Manufacturing teams, you will transform creative concepts into accurate, production-ready designs while maintaining the original creative vision.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, creativity, material knowledge, and exceptional attention to detail to deliver high-quality products across multiple categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Design & Development: Translate creative concepts, sketches, and 3D visuals into detailed technical drawings, 2D/3D models, specifications, and manufacturing-ready files.
• Multi-Category Product Development: Develop products across packaging, beauty, promotional gifting, accessories, and retail merchandising.
• Manufacturing Documentation: Produce accurate dielines, artwork, construction details, assembly instructions, and technical specifications for suppliers.
• Prototyping & Quality Control: Review samples, identify technical challenges, recommend improvements, and ensure final products meet design and quality standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams, product developers, and manufacturers to ensure technical feasibility while maintaining design integrity.
• Materials & Innovation: Explore materials, finishes, and manufacturing techniques, balancing aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and cost.
• Design Excellence: Maintain high standards across product dimensions, proportions, materials, colours, finishes, and overall execution.
• Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Product Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in technical design, industrial design, or product development, translating creative concepts into manufacturable products.
• Strong proficiency in 2D technical drawing and 3D modelling software, such as SolidWorks, Rhino, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Ability to produce detailed technical drawings, manufacturing specifications, production artwork, and dielines.
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, packaging construction, and assembly techniques.
• Experience reviewing prototypes, troubleshooting technical challenges, and refining designs for production.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong collaboration skills.

Preferred Requirements

• Ideally 3-5+ years of relevant experience in technical design, industrial design, or product development.
• Experience within packaging, beauty, consumer products, fashion accessories, or promotional merchandise.
• Experience working across multiple product categories and manufacturing techniques.
• Previous collaboration with international suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Advanced knowledge of print production, colour management, decorative finishes, and specialist materials.
• Understanding of sustainable design principles, recyclable materials, and responsible manufacturing practices.
