Package Manager, Electrical Engineering for Offshore Wind | Dunkirk

TGRC Recruitment is delighted to present an exclusive opportunity for a dynamic individual to contribute to the burgeoning field of offshore wind energy. We are searching for an experienced Package Manager to oversee and lead electrical engineering projects in Dunkirk. This is a contract position for a 12-month duration, offering an attractive day rate.

Position Overview

As a Package Manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of electrical engineering packages within the offshore wind sector. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion. Your main objective will be to ensure all electrical components of our offshore wind projects are engineered, procured, and executed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical engineering packages for offshore wind projects.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, and construction to achieve project milestones.

Manage project risks, including the identification, assessment, and implementation of mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards pertaining to offshore wind energy.

Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure project objectives are met.

Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.

Required Qualifications and Skills

A minimum of 2-4 years of direct experience in the wind energy sector, specifically in electrical engineering for offshore wind projects.

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Demonstrated project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Strong leadership capabilities and experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

This position is based in Dunkirk, offering a unique opportunity to work in one of the most dynamic regions for offshore wind development in Europe.

Compensation

The selected candidate will be offered a competitive day rate of €700.

Contract Duration

This is a 12-month contract position with potential for extension based on project needs and individual performance.
