Job summary

Nashville Wire Products is seeking a career-minded Industrial Maintenance Technician for our overnight shift. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance on stamping presses, PLCs, and related equipment to minimize downtime.

The role emphasizes electrical work, with mechanical experience essential. Expect a base schedule of 50 hours per week, plus overtime with double-time incentives and comprehensive benefits starting after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Strong emphasis on electrical, however mechanical experience is required.
• Steady work history in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Must pass math and tape measure fraction tests, a mechanical aptitude test, drug screen, and a 7-year background check.
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the first of the month after 30 days.
• 40 hours of vacation after 6 months; 80 hours after 1 year.
• Paid sick time (10 hours every 90 days for the first year, then 30 hours annually).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, hydraulic/mechanical stamping presses, and resistance welding systems.
• Set up, integrate, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Minimize line downtime and resolve recurring mechanical and electrical issues.
