NSG Group / Pilkington is seeking a Maintenance Tech for our Versailles, KY facility on a 2/2/3 schedule with evenings. This full-time, on-site role requires hands-on maintenance of process and facility equipment, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work across shifts, including weekends/holidays in a 24/7 operation.

Ideal candidates have an AS degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent and proven electro-mechanical maintenance skills on CNC, robots, servo systems, and hydraulics.

Qualifications

• AS Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Significant electro-mechanical maintenance experience on industrial facilities equipment.
• Ability to pass an Industrial Maintenance Exam (written and hands-on).
• Professional behavior and communication skills required.
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems.

Responsabilités

• Follow Safety, Health and Environmental guidelines during activities.
• Repair process, production, and facility equipment as required.
• Resolve equipment failures in a timely manner.
• Document daily activities in the CMMS (eMaint).
• Plan and implement 5S in maintenance areas.
• Coordinate with positions to complete projects and keep plants in order.
• Procure parts for projects and repairs as needed.
• Participate in PM events in all areas.
• Monitor emergency breakdowns and request technical assistance.
• Train new employees to meet business needs.
• All other duties as assigned.

Description

This position is based full-time at the Versailles, KY manufacturing facility, with regular presence required on the production floor across all shifts, including periodic off-shift, weekend, and holiday coverage to support a 24/7 operation. The plant environment includes exposure to manufacturing conditions typical of automotive glass processing, including heat (tempering/furnace areas), noise, glass handling, forklift and overhead crane traffic, and use of personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, cut-resistant gloves, steel-toed footwear) in designated areas. The role requires the physical ability to walk, stand, and move throughout the facility for extended periods, climb stairs/platforms, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Office time is spent in a standard plant administration setting.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Following the necessary Safety, Health and Environmental guidelines required during the execution of activities
• Engage in the repair of all process, production, and facility equipment as required
• Ensure equipment failures are resolved in timely order
• Document daily activities in the maintenance CMMS system (eMaint)
• Plan, coordinate, and implement a 5S standard for the Maintenance Areas (Personal Area, Shop, Drill repair, etc.)
• Communicate with all positions as necessary to successfully complete assigned projects and ensure the Plant equipment & facilities are in proper working order
• Generate information to secure the necessary parts to complete projects and repairs
• Participate in PM events in all areas as necessary
• Monitor all emergency break down calls and call for technical assistance as needed
• Provide training and direction to new employees in order to achieve business needs
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• AS Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field (desired)
• Technical education and/or significant electro-mechanical maintenance experience required on Industrial Facilities equipment (CNC equipment, Robots, Servo systems, hydraulic and power transmission, Instrumentation devices, Electrical Distribution components)
• Ability to pass an accredited Industrial Maintenance Exam (Written and Hands-On)
• Professional behavior, communication and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to work Safely and Proficiently with minimal supervision required
• Ability to read blueprints for specific disciplines is required
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair process and production equipment breakdowns required
• Demonstrated Mechanical systems troubleshooting skills and experience
• Demonstrated electrical control system troubleshooting skills and experience
• Ability to exhibit an extreme sense of urgency
• Demonstrated ability to satisfy requirements of the ‘Functional Job Description’

Rotating Day OR Evening Shifts - 2/2/3 - we will provide a schedule upon hire

Shift Available - 6:15pm-6:30am - YOU WILL NOT WORK BOTH SHIFTS

Hourly Range from $32.00-$40.50 will DOE- OT will be at least 12 hours per week, but will level off in the coming months
