Job Description:

The Business Unit Tests & Measurements is composed by more than 30 Sales Engineer, promoting actively our full measuring solutions for Research and development applications within four main focus industries:

  • Aerospace
  • Maritime and Naval
  • Infrastructures and Energy
  • High Speed Dynamics

Those demanding applications are requiring a deep-understanding and a real technical know-how on the measurement technologies that we are offering. That is why, in addition to the high-quality products that we are delivering, a real technical consultancy is offered to our customers. Our global presence worldwide allows us to offer services, from the commissioning, and repair of complex measuring chains.

Purpose :

In the framework of our strategy implementation, we are looking for a new Outside Sales Representative (OSR). (He/She) will be based in the Paris area for our local subsidiary Kistler France. As an OSR, you will take over the region (Western Part of France), with the following main tasks:

Main Tasks :

  • Take over a current existing customer portfolio and develop in line with our growth strategy through your proactive actions.
  • Manage incoming requests coming from our multiple sales channels and ensure a high request to order conversion rate
  • Support our customers through a deep understanding of their applications, projects and provide technical consultancy.
  • Elaborate the technical and commercial offers even for complex and demanding projects
  • Define an action plan for the region of your responsibility covering a short-/mid- and long term view (prospection, new trends, …)
  • Detect new opportunities and applications
  • Maintain the CRM provided by the company
  • Work in a close relationship with the local and international teams
  • Be part of sales exhibitions and trade fairs

Requirements :

  • Mechanical Engineer or Measurement Engineer (Bachelor or Master Degree)
  • 3 to 5 years work experience as a Sales Engineer in the industry field. Work experience within a test laboratory is an asset
  • Good overview of the focus industries described in the job position
  • Understanding of the measurement technologies
  • Fluent in English (C1). Any other language is an added-value
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Customer centricity and ability to work in a multicultural team and environment (open-minded)
  • Curious (looking to understand better in order to define the right solutions to customers or solve complex issue)
  • Willingness to travel (40 % to 50%)
