Role Overview:

The Sales Development Representative is vital in generating new business opportunities by qualifying leads for the sales team. This role involves collaborating with local sales and channel teams, nurturing leads, engaging with customers at events, and maintaining CRM data accuracy. The ideal candidate will excel in a B2B environment, leveraging internet and database resources to identify prospects and foster sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support lead qualification, routing, and administration processes.
  • Generate interest through targeted email and calling campaigns.
  • Follow up on inquiries, qualify prospects, and coordinate meetings or demos.
  • Collaborate across marketing, sales, channel, and product teams to meet sales targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities via targeted engagement.
  • Develop account intelligence and relationships through direct engagement and insight tools.
  • Coordinate with marketing on campaigns and events to drive attendance.
  • Maintain CRM data integrity and provide market insights.
  • Report on lead activities and propose process improvements.
  • Participate in territory-specific projects and team initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field; 0+ years of relevant experience or 4+ years in a similar role.
  • Technical aptitude and/or experience in an industrial/technical sales environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience using social media for engagement.
  • Knowledge of sales automation tools and processes.
  • Fluent in English and local language.
  • Willingness to travel 5-25%.

Preferred Skills:

  • 1 year experience in sales or customer relations.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and understand industry issues.
  • Proactive in engaging prospects and creating value.
