Your daily life
The Cannes site is responsible for the design of satellite systems and platforms, satellite assembly/integration/testing, and in-orbit operations. The site has expertise in optical instrumentation and avionics.
You collaborate with a passionate team and actively participate in strategic projects for planetary monitoring and security.
- You are responsible for understanding the testing needs expressed by architects and various stakeholders, and proposing a suitable testing solution.
- You are responsible for adapting existing electro-optical characterization benches or developing new means, as well as test management software and data processing tools.
- You collaborate with a passionate team and actively participate in strategic projects for planetary monitoring and security.
- Your main mission is to contribute to the development of CMOS detectors for space applications by supporting the characterization activities of its performance.
- You will carry out laboratory testing activities and perform associated image processing. You will use all your knowledge to analyze the results obtained and be a driving force in adjusting the test plan in coordination with the rest of the team.
- Together with the detection team, you are responsible for synthesizing the results obtained and providing the inputs necessary for flight performance predictions.
- You participate in internal and client presentations through fluid communication. You also participate in working groups related to your activities.
- You contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices within the department, and in particular propose new ideas and methods to optimize testing activities, test bench management and image processing.
Your Profile
Minimum Bac +5 engineering training in the field of Optics/Optronics
- You have 1 to 2 years of experience in Optronics, image sensors, visible or infrared cameras
- You have general knowledge in Optics, Semiconductor Physics, Analog or Digital Electronics, Mathematics
- You have knowledge in the implementation of image sensors and in the characterization of their performance
- You have knowledge of programming applied to test benches. In particular, you are proficient in MATLAB, PYTHON and/or LabVIEW tools.
Ideally you have:
- knowledge of the specificities linked to the space sector
- skills in digital electronics (FPGA, etc.)
- knowledge in project management
You are curious and have a strong inclination for innovation
- You are recognized for your team spirit and your sense of sharing knowledge and ideas.
- You are proactive and demonstrate autonomy in carrying out your missions.
- You have customer service skills and master communication
- You demonstrate rigor and have a good ability to summarize
