Department: Sales/SBU MED / Service

Integrating the Service Department of Vestas France, as an Operator or Service Technician, you will be at the forefront of wind energy innovation and play a key role with our customers. Your mission will be to optimize our clients’ wind farms during their lifecycle, ensuring maximum turbine capacity and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out periodic service inspections according to Vestas' specifications, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics component replacement and troubleshooting.
2. Ensure smooth operation of turbines and system use within condition monitoring and remote control.
3. Maintain an efficient service vehicle and well-stocked warehouse by ordering materials, tools, and spare parts as needed.
4. Assemble components and main parts following current rules or work instructions, possibly using internal or external cranes.
5. Work adhering to the highest safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma with experience in technical fields (maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanics); a Bachelor’s degree, BTS/DUT in industrial or electrical/mechanical engineering certified by BZEE is required for technician level.
2. Ideally 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electrical work, with high voltage knowledge.

Competencies:

1. Proactive communication with customers regarding service and repairs. Flexible, autonomous, results-oriented, innovative, with mobility for planned trips.
2. Knowledge of technical English (spoken/written) and familiarity with MS Office.
3. Good communication skills and team spirit.
4. Strong commitment to safety standards and ability to work at heights.
