Role Purpose

An aircraft refueling operations supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe refueling of aircraft. They are responsible for coordinating and managing the refueling process, including scheduling fueling operations, monitoring safety protocols, supervising refueling personnel, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards. Additionally, they may also be involved in quality control, record-keeping, and addressing any issues or emergencies that may arise during the refueling process to maintain the overall integrity of aviation operations.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Maintain product stocks at acceptable levels to meet daily airport demand.
  • Supervise manpower requirements and shifts daily.
  • Ensure compliance with the Group's business principles for HS&E management at the fuels.
  • Supervise engineering and maintenance in fuel operations to ensure safety and timeliness.
  • Attend meetings with company representatives and the airport, together with site management.
  • Supervise and conduct training for refuellers and new employees.
  • Oversee contractors performing engineering and maintenance duties under Shell's Safe System of Work procedures.
  • Participate in applying company HR policies, employee relations, and incident investigations.
  • Implement identified best practices and adapt to necessary changes.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with employees, customers, and the airport.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security requirements.
  • Deputize for operations in the absence of the supervisor.

What We Are Looking For
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and personal skills, with adaptability and flexibility.
  • Valid driving license with LGV C or LGV C+E & CPC (ADR is an advantage).
  • Experience in product handling, health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Knowledge of depot operations, asset management, and project finance, IR, and engineering.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, HR, interpersonal skills, and legal procedures.
