About the Role
This role involves working on a major offshore wind project in Europe currently in pre-FEED. The service provider will perform engineering tasks related to Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities, with a focus on the Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) package.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing O&M employer documents during the pre-project phase, such as:
- Operation & Maintenance Philosophy
- Control and SCADA philosophy
- Security Philosophy
- Preservation, Commissioning, and Start-Up Philosophy
Reviewing and commenting on documents during FEED and execution phases, including:
- WTG and BOP design documentation: Safety Concept, Technical Concept, SLD, P&ID, mechanical, hydraulic, and logic diagrams
- Interfaces between packages (WTG, cables, BOP, OSS)
- Operation and Maintenance documentation: safety, evacuation, rescue, emergency plans, manuals, spare parts, tooling, maintenance procedures, inspection procedures, statutory inspections
- Overall and detailed schedules for preservation, commissioning, start-up of WTG and BOP systems
- Technical specifications for O&M ports/bases, control room, warehouse
Providing technical support and coordination for contracts related to:
- Operational vessels (SOV and CTV)
- WTG service and maintenance agreements
- BOP maintenance contracts
- O&M port/base services
Supporting review and negotiation of scopes of work and contractual documents, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
Developing KPIs for O&M contracts and efficient data generation methods.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Senior expertise in O&M of offshore wind turbines, gained through experience in multiple farms or technical contexts (manufacturers, technologies, operators)
- Ability to work closely with various stakeholders
- Fluency in English; French and German are advantageous
