SBM Offshore, a global leader in floating production solutions, is seeking an Operations Engineer to oversee coordination and execution of onshore and offshore operations at the shorebase. You will manage daily activities, optimize processes, and ensure safety and environmental standards.

With a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 3 years in oil and gas, you will provide technical support, drive cost reductions, and liaise with logistics, maintenance, and production teams to keep operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, or related field).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in oil and gas.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and manage daily operational activities at the shorebase.
• Monitor and optimize operational processes to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identify improvements.
• Analyze operational data and prepare reports for management review.

• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure availability of materials and services.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with all stakeholders.

Purpose

• As Operations Engineer you oversee the coordination and execution of operational activities to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role involves managing daily operations, optimizing processes, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and providing technical support to the onshore and offshore teams.
• You ensure safe and continuous running of the operation both onshore and offshore. You meet budgetary constraints and optimization for cost reductions and you deputize as Operations Manager as and when required.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, or related field).

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the oil and gas industry.
