Within the Operational Risk & BCM Team, with team members working from different sites (Paris, Dublin, Oslo, Copenhagen, Milan, Rome, New York…), the apprentice, under the responsibility of a Risk Manager in the team, will be located in Paris, starting from September.
The apprentice will assist the team mainly in
Support risk managers in the regular risk management activities within Operational Risk & BCM team scope (perform detailed risk analysis, participate to risk review meetings with businesses and transversal program teams),
Perform third party risk assessment (in relation with incoming Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on Digital Operational Resilience – DORA Regulation),
Perform risk assessment and consolidate of the disaster recovery plans and tests,
Support team in the “Business Impact Analysis” campaign,
Monitor KRIs (Key Risk Indicators) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators),
Provide user support and administration of risk management tools and systems,
Engage in defining the Risk & BCM Awareness strategy and execute the related initiatives,
Prepare management committees (on operational risk, program in team, BCM….),
Suggest synergies within other departments of second line of Defense (Internal Control, Compliance)
Other missions could be proposed depending the needs and external risk environment.
In doing so, the apprentice will interact with various stakeholders from business and IT teams, risk owners, risk coordinators and other risk managers.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Studies on risk management (especially operational risk management) or audit.
Knowledge of the operational risk, IT is an advantage.
Organised, structured and rigorous.
Ability to effectively respond to shifting priorities and assignments.
Relationship building.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels including senior executives, both orally and in writing.
Excellent analytical skills.
Fluency in English (both spoken and written) required.
Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint
