Job Description:

The Capital Performance and Analytics (CPA) team is composed of highly skilled members with expertise in Actuarial, Finance, L&H, and P&C Business. The team assists the Group in strategic decision-making by providing analysis on economic and capital performance (IFRS and S2) using data-driven insights.

The Head of Capital Performance & Analytics has responsibilities in strategic projects, notably leading the new Finance IFRS Performance (FIP) project to establish a new Performance framework under IFRS 17, including Capital Performance KPIs.

The Operational Lead supports the Head in delivering economic analysis on Performance and strategic projects, along with other team duties.

  • Deliver quarterly group economic performance analysis (IFRS 17 and S2), collaborating with the Senior Manager overseeing daily team operations. These analyses support internal results reporting and external communications.
  • Develop and maintain analytical frameworks and materials around key performance indicators to support messaging on group economic performance internally and externally.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior executives, the Executive Committee, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to strategic projects under the Head's responsibility, including the FIP project and the development of a Group Analytical Framework to compare IFRS 17 and S2 performance drivers.
  • Collaborate with other Finance teams (L&H, P&C, Corporate Performance) and outside teams (Risk Management, Business Units) on transversal projects and key performance analysis.
  • Manage project delivery with CPA technical leads, ensuring development and use of advanced data analytics tools for economic and capital performance analysis.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of a roadmap to transition BAU tasks and mature processes to production teams.

Team Management:

  • Attract, develop, and retain talented team members, ensuring ongoing engagement and motivation.
  • Utilize technology effectively to support the Group's objectives.

Assist the Head in recruiting, developing, and maintaining a network of technically skilled professionals.

  • Minimum 13 years of relevant experience in insurance or broader financial services, with experience in consulting or audit firms a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the financial and operational impact of decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of finance reporting systems and economic frameworks, capable of bridging accounting/prudential frameworks.
  • Experience managing international teams.
  • Fellow of a relevant Actuarial Society and a degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent work experience (e.g., engineering).
