As an Onsite Service Technician in France, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of IQIP’s offshore and onshore installation equipment at our local site. This is a non-travelling position where you ensure the readiness and performance of our systems used in demanding environments such as offshore wind and coastal infrastructure. You will work closely with colleagues in engineering, logistics, and global service to ensure safe and high-quality service delivery.
Your responsibilities
Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical maintenance on heavy equipment
Inspect, test, and prepare equipment for mobilisation to global project sites
Troubleshoot technical issues and carry out necessary repairs and adjustments
Maintain accurate service documentation and technical records
Ensure safety and quality compliance in all service activities
Support internal improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness
Your profile
Technical education (MBO level 3 or 4) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field
Experience in service or maintenance work, preferably in the heavy equipment or offshore industry
Solid knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
Practical experience with tools, measurement equipment, and interpretation of technical drawings
Safety-conscious and hands-on mindset
Good communication skills in French and English
Based in France, with willingness to work from a local IQIP service site
