Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install, troubleshoot, program, repair, and maintain wireless communications systems for commercial and public-sector customers. This role is 100% onsite/local field-based in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include configuring trunked radio environments, servicing RF infrastructure, and providing onsite customer support. Requires 3+ years of related experience and valid driver’s license; travel and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with two-way radio and wireless systems.
• Hands-on experience with major radio brands.
• Strong knowledge of RF, radio theory, TCP/IP, and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, program, and maintain two-way radio systems.
• Support radio programming and codeplug development.
• Service RF infrastructure including repeaters, base stations, and antennas.
• Use test equipment to diagnose issues onsite.
• Provide on-site support and regional project participation.
