Job summary

Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse seeks a Process Leader & Work Package Leader for On-Board functions. You will embed core performance models into cockpit avionics, leading interfaces with programs and systems teams to design and deliver advanced on-board functions such as the New FMS and TAWS.

You will steer development, delivery, and in-service enhancement, collaborating across civil and military programs, ensuring robust verification and data-driven upgrades while fostering flexible working

Qualifications

Background in aeronautics, flight physics or related engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in aeronautics, flight operations, or avionics systems engineering.
Proven knowledge of flight physics and cockpit environments.
Experience with Flight Management Systems design or surrogate modeling.

Responsibilities

Steer development of avionics performance functions with programs and systems teams.
Design next-generation performance algorithms for the New FMS.
Deliver models, flight physics datasets and verification packages for system integration and V&V testing.
Analyze in-service flight data with operation teams to quantify performance upgrades.
Optimize engineering process frameworks and toolsets across civil/military programs.
