Following its success in the German federal offshore wind auctions in May 2023 and June 2024, Company has established a dedicated entity to develop and manage awarded areas. The O&M Contracts Lead will support operations and maintenance contract and procurement activities across German Offshore Wind Projects (N-12.1, N-11.2, and O-2.2).
This position plays a key role in structuring and implementing the O&M contract strategy, contributing to operational readiness and ensuring robust vendor relationships to support long-term asset performance.
Main Responsibilities
Support and coordinate all Contracts & Procurement (C&P) activities related to Operations and Maintenance (O&M) including:
- Operational readiness, asset management, and facilities management
- Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) & Balance of Plant (BOP) services
- Vessels (SOVs, CTVs) and operational logistics
- O&M base setup and related services
Develop and execute procurement strategies and CFT packages (Call for Tender), including:
- Prequalification and bidder evaluation
- Evaluation reports and internal recommendations
Support contract negotiation and administration through the full lifecycle:
- Ensure contracts are aligned with project phases, reporting, and financial governance
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and approval workflows
- Liaise with HQ procurement (TGP/OFW), Project Management, and Technical teams
- Draft and manage Confidentiality Agreements and Due Diligence processes
- Coordinate with the C&P Project Lead and support internal and partner approvals
Additional Activities
- Support CAPEX/OPEX estimations and refine contracting strategies (EPCI vs multi-contracting)
- Support senior management reporting and claims management
- Monitor performance KPIs and lead Service Quality Meetings (SQMs) with contractors
- Draft and manage change orders, variation orders, and contract amendments
- Use procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., Ariba, MBC, AGORA)
- Manage vendor prequalification and vendor master data in ERP
- Participate in C&P user training and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Experience with international tenders, supplier risk review, commercial benchmarking
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with procurement procedures, legal standards, and reporting
Soft Skills
- Ability to work with international teams and manage complex interfaces
