Jobtailor is seeking an experienced geotechnical lead for offshore wind projects. You will act as technical focal point, ensure QA/QC of geotechnical deliverables, and provide soil data and inputs for foundation and cable design.

You will manage bids and workstreams, coordinate with designers and certification bodies, supervise surveys, and contribute to R&D of in-house tools while guiding stakeholders through RFQ processes and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• MSc in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience for offshore wind.
• Experience in bottom-fixed projects; floating offshore wind experience desirable.
• Knowledge of offshore geotechnical surveys, RFQ processes, equipment and lab testing.
• Experience integrating geophysical and geotechnical data and reporting.
• Familiarity with international standards and design codes.
• Strong English communication; stakeholder engagement.
• Project management for large site investigations.

Responsabilités

• Act as the geotechnical technical lead ensuring QA/QC and inputs for packages.
• Manage interfaces, provide soil data for foundation and cable design.
• Lead geoscience workstreams for bids and offshore wind projects (tech and PM).
• Quality control of geotechnical datasets and interpret survey data.
• Review reports and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare SOWs, technical requirements, and roadmap documentation.
• Support certification activities for geoscience data.
• Coordinate with foundation/anchor design packages and external studies.
• Develop in-house geotechnical tools and R&D integration.
• Define geoscience budgets and schedules; oversee RFQ through certification.
• Contribute to meetings with regulators and stakeholders.
