Job summary

SBM Offshore N.V. is seeking a Crane and Hydraulic Specialist to support the maintenance team on offshore cranes and hydraulic systems.

You will apply your extensive experience to ensure reliability, mentor technicians, and uphold procedures and regulatory standards in an offshore environment. The role requires NVQ/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, strong CMMS (AMOS/IFS) and ePTW knowledge, and good planning skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience and/or qualification to Mechanical Engineering level (N/SVQ/HNC/HND or equivalent).
• Extensive hands-on experience with hydraulic cranes maintenance offshore.
• Solid knowledge of Crane and Lifting International Standards.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems (AMOS/IFS) and ePTW processes.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Experience with hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work, Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.
• English ability at CEFR level B1 or higher.
• Medical fitness to work offshore as per GEMS requirements.
