Job summary

Anotech Energy is seeking an Offshore Contract Manager to lead the execution-phase contract management for major projects. You will analyze terms, develop strategies, negotiate, and administer contracts across Clients, Partners, Vendors, and Subcontractors.

The role requires a strong engineering background with 10+ years in a similar function, plus fluency in English and French. Experience on FPSO, SURF, or Platform projects is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management.
• Experience on EPC/large oil & gas projects is essential.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Engineering background; a combined Engineering + Legal profile is advantageous.
• Experience with FPSO, SURF, or Platform projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract management activities throughout the execution phase.
• Develop contracting strategies and manage negotiations, administration, and close-out.
• Draft, review, and handle contractual correspondence with Clients, Partners, Vendors, and Subcontractors.
• Prepare, update, and maintain contract registers, reports, and related documentation.
• Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of variations and claims (EOT, disruption, acceleration).
• Support procurement documentation for purchase orders, subcontracts, and charter party agreements.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and document control.
• Provide expert contractual support and analytical insights to project management and senior leadership.
• Deliver regular reports to senior leadership on contractual performance and project health.

Offshore Contract Manager - Execution Phase

• Partner with the Project Director/Manager to oversee and coordinateall contract management activities throughout the execution phase.
• Analyze, interpret, and provide expert guidance on contractual terms and conditions.
• Develop contracting strategies and manage negotiations, contract administration, and contract close‑outwithin assigned authority.
• Draft, review, and handle contractual correspondence with Clients, Partners, Vendors, and Subcontractors.
• Prepare, update, and maintain contract registers, reports, and all related documentation.
• Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of variations and claims, including EOT, disruption, and acceleration (covering pricing, commercial, contractual, and technical aspects).
• Support the Project Supply Chain Manager in managing contractual documentation for purchase orders, subcontracts, and charter party agreements, including close‑out activities.
• Ensure accurate, comprehensive record‑keeping and document control.
• Provide expert contractual support and analytical insights to project management, construction teams, project controls, and senior leadership.
• Deliver regular reports to senior leadership on contractual performance, risks, and overall project health.
• Full professional proficiency inEnglish and French.
• Engineering background preferred; a combined Engineering + Legal profile is a strong advantage.
• Significant experience as a Project Contract Manager on large EPCI or complex construction projects, ideally within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong understanding of EPC contract structures and construction industry standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing, evaluating, and negotiating changes and claims.
• Experience working onFPSO, SURF, or Platform projects is an asset.
