Anotech in Paris seeks an experienced Project Contract Manager to oversee contract management activities throughout execution on large EPCI and complex construction projects in the oil & gas sector. The role requires strong EPC contractual knowledge and record-keeping discipline.

You will draft, review, and negotiate changes and claims (including EOT and disruptions), manage subcontracts and purchase orders, maintain contract registers, and report contract performance and risks to senior

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management for large EPCI or complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of EPC contract structures and industry standards.
• Experience with FPSO, SURF, or platform projects is an asset.
• Excellent drafting, evaluating, and negotiation skills on changes and claims.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, update, and maintain contract registers and related reports.
• Lead negotiations of variations and claims (EOT, disruption, acceleration) across pricing, commercial, and technical aspects.
• Provide expert contractual support to project teams and leadership; deliver regular contract performance reports.

Job Description

• Partner with the Project Director/Manager to oversee and coordinate all contract management activities throughout the execution phase.
• Analyze, interpret, and provide expert guidance on contractual terms and conditions.
• Develop contracting strategies and manage negotiations, contract administration, and contract close‑out within assigned authority.
• Draft, review, and handle contractual correspondence with Clients, Partners, Vendors, and Subcontractors.
• Prepare, update, and maintain contract registers, reports, and all related documentation.
• Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of variations and claims, including EOT, disruption, and acceleration (covering pricing, commercial, contractual, and technical aspects).
• Support the Project Supply Chain Manager in managing contractual documentation for purchase orders, subcontracts, and charter party agreements, including close‑out activities.
• Ensure accurate, comprehensive record‑keeping and document control.
• Provide expert contractual support and analytical insights to project management, construction teams, project controls, and senior leadership.
• Deliver regular reports to senior leadership on contractual performance, risks, and overall project health.

Requirements

• Full professional proficiency in English and French.
• Engineering background preferred; a combined Engineering + Legal profile is a strong advantage.
• Significant experience as a Project Contract Manager on large EPCI or complex construction projects, ideally within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong understanding of EPC contract structures and construction industry standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing, evaluating, and negotiating changes and claims.
• Experience working on FPSO, SURF, or Platform projects is an asset.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar function.
