Job summary

Anotech Energy seeks a senior construction/engineering professional to oversee detailed engineering activities for procurement and construction during the on-site phase. You will ensure HSSE and contract requirements are met, coordinate with EPC contractors, and steer close-out of campaigns.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams in a multicultural environment, manage documentation, and participate in critical project meetings to ensure timely completion and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in a similar position: 10 Years
• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Professional experience: 15 years minimum.
• Excellent knowledge in civil works & earthworks, infrastructures, engineering, construction, installation, commissioning
• Knowledge and understanding of contract management
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Language: English as mother tongue or Fluent in English (speaking and writing), French and/or Arabic language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EPSCC contractor performance and ensure compliance with Project standards.
• Monitor progress, quality, HSSE, and timely completion of construction activities.
• Ensure proper resource mobilization and documentation compliance.
• Participate in key construction and HSSE meetings.
• Track punch lists and support commissioning activities.
• Report regularly to Manager and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain contractor relations while enforcing project requirements.

Job description

• During the Detailed Engineering phase, the job holder is responsible, within the team located in the engineering offices and under the Package Manager, for overseeing and advising the engineering team with regards to engineering activities related to construction and procurement. The job holder is also in charge of the preparation of the overall construction activities to be carried out by the EPC Contractor on SITE (and Subcontractors).
• The job holder ensures that all HSSE, Quality and Technical contractual requirements are duly applied by EPC Contractor and all Subcontractors on the construction discipline.
• The job holder is responsible to: Oversee all engineering activities related to procurement and construction during Detailed Engineering phase, and close follow up for both area OSA/Utilities & Process; Prepare the onshore campaign; and, Ensure close out
• The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE, ethics and “code of conduct”.
