Job summary

Sorontar is seeking an Office Manager to ensure smooth daily site operations, from reception to security and IT support. You will manage the fleet, onboarding, access control and internal events, reporting to the Head of Operations.

As the company expands, your scope will grow across multiple sites including workshops and restricted-access areas. The role requires experience in facilities or office management, comfort with the French administrative framework, and fluency in French and English.

What you'll get to do

You will make sure Sorontar’s sites run smoothly day to day. You manage reception, supplies, mail and service providers such as cleaning, maintenance and catering, and you are the point of contact for site security. You also manage the vehicle fleet, provide first-level IT support and organize internal events. You support the team on day-to-day administration, including onboarding new employees, access badges and equipment. You report to the Head of Operations.

As Sorontar grows, the company will operate several sites, including workshops and restricted-access areas, and your scope will expand with them.

Your profile

Your background can be academic or self-taught. What counts is experience as an office manager or in facilities management, ideally in a company with industrial or technical activities. You know the French administrative framework and you are comfortable with automation tools. You work in French and English. The role includes welcoming visitors and hosting company events, so a strong sense of hospitality is critical. You are the first person many of our guests meet.

Important information

• Remote policy: Our work relies on close collaboration and on our ability to adapt quickly, so we have a no-remote work policy.
• Contract: We only offer full-time permanent contracts (CDI).
• Security and access: Work at Sorontar falls into three categories. Research takes place in restricted-access zones (ZRR) and requires an access authorization. Applied technology builds on known and publicly available technologies and carries no specific access restriction. Programs deliver systems to defense customers and may require a national security clearance.
