We are currently recruiting for an Office Manager to join our team at Sizewell B Nuclear Power Station.
The role will be FTC 5 months
Position Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, demonstrating adaptability across diverse business functions. They should be familiar with dynamic industries, possessing flexibility in their approach to work. Additionally, proficiency in financial management and adherence to confidentiality protocols is essential.
Furthermore, the candidate should exhibit strong customer service orientation, effective communication skills, and proficiency in computer applications such as Word and PowerPoint. They must demonstrate the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and handle confidential information with discretion.
Suitable candidates must be willing to undergo CTC clearance.
Responsibilities:
Proactively monitor and oversee various processes related to training and in-processing.
Collating Credit Card Receipts and Expenses: Gather and organize credit card receipts and other expenditure records.
Direct Liaison with External Suppliers and Key Partners: Communicate directly with external suppliers and strategic partners to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain records of contracts, site financials, and labor information.
Regularly monitor the progress of ongoing projects.
Prepare and deliver reports on performance metrics.
Identify potential issues and actively report them to minimize their impact.
Main Accountabilities:
Ensure timely submission of all invoices.
Successfully accomplish assigned tasks.
Supervise staff as necessary.
Provide efficient administration support for the site.
Ensure cost-effectiveness in all operations.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience Required:
Essential:
General education with GCSEs in English and Maths.
Professional qualifications such as RSA 2 / NVQ 2 or equivalent.
Experience in booking/travel arrangements and accommodation.
Preferred:
Experience working in manufacturing, thermal, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or nuclear environments.
Additional experience in booking/travel arrangements and accommodation.
Suitable candidates will be required to undergo CTC clearance.
