Office Manager
Salary:£32,000 (FTE) £19,200 (pro rated)
Bonus:Discretionary
Location: Kings Cross, London (Tues-Thurs at HQ, Monday + Friday - anywhere)
Employment Type:0.6 FTE (22.2 hours per week) Structured as: one hour on both Mondays and Fridays (remote inbox management) and 20.2 hours in the office over Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays*

Role Summary
We are seeking an Office Manager to provide high quality assistance to our team & coordinate the general functioning of our office environment. Reporting into the Director of People Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and productive working environment for our team. They will assist with day-to-day tasks, support office events, and work on ad-hoc projects.
What you’ll do
The scope of the role will evolve as ARIA continues to grow, but will broadly involve the following:
As the main contact for our office, oversee daily office operations and provide administrative support to the People Operations team to ensure a smooth workflow.
Cultivate a positive working environment, working alongside our managed office service provider to maintain all areas, and suggest and implement new ideas to improve employee experience in our physical space.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the office environment, including leading health and safety review meetings and delivering health and safety office tours for new starters. You’ll be trained in the role as a fire warden and first aider.
Manage all aspects of space/infrastructure planning (moves, additions, changes to workstations and layout).
Manage all visitors to the office, and ensure a friendly, personal experience. For visitors working from our space, ensure appropriate security clearance has been obtained.
Work on ‘in office’ events such as all team meetings, and any events happening in our space.
Manage office supplies inventory and the office budget, placing orders as necessary, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate other office spaces required for ARIA staff.

You will have excellent time-management and organisational skills with the ability to work on your own initiative to tight deadlines, using judgement to make decisions and prioritise your workload.
Strong attention to detail and an adaptable attitude will also be key to this role.
You will need strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and with different audiences.
You will be expected to hit the ground running, quickly grasping key responsibilities and contributing to ongoing projects with minimal supervision.
