Overview

We have an amazing opportunity for a Per Diem (PRN) Occupational Therapy Assistant in Savoy, TX with an in-house therapy team. We are looking for an OTA to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals that service our residents through person-centered care to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist.
  • Ensure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.
  • Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Monitor patient response to treatment intervention.
  • Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.
  • Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
Skills
  • SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices.
  • Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
  • Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
Requirements
