Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support busy outpatient clinics across multiple sites. You will perform vital signs, rooming, and clerical tasks, and assist licensed clinicians with procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or MA program completion, BLS certification, and strong communication with patients and staff. Working hours are typically Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with a 40-hour week and a competitive benefits package including a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming and visit tasks including vital signs and history.
• Assists provider with procedures as ordered.
• Prepares lab specimens and performs POCT per standing orders.
• Administers medications and vaccines safely.
• Cross-trained to support multiple clinic duties.
• Maintains clean and stocked work areas.
• Communicates effectively with patients and team members.
