About the Role

Airswift is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the energy sector for the position of Training Manager.

The successful candidate will be embedded within the Commissioning & Operations (O&M) Teams and will take full ownership of the project training strategy, from designing and implementing detailed training programs to managing cross-functional training teams and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive training plan, including detailed training manuals aligned with client standards.
• Supervise the development and review of training materials across multiple LNG units.
• Ensure vendor and licensor training requirements are met in accordance with project specifications.
• Lead and manage a training team including coordinators, instructors, and technical writers.
• Conduct follow-up and assessment of training outcomes; report on progress to internal stakeholders.
• Interface regularly with Commissioning, Engineering, Client, and Vendor teams.
• Plan and coordinate classroom, workshop, and on-the-job training sessions.
• Report to O&M Manager and collaborate closely with Client and Project Teams.

Required Experience

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in training delivery and management within the LNG or onshore Oil & Gas sector.
• Recognised technical qualification in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical Engineering or relevant technical background.
• Proven leadership in managing training teams and delivering complex training programs.
• Experience working on large-scale EPC or owner-operator projects.
• Certified trainer for Oil & Gas operators (preferred ADNOC-recognised or equivalent).
• Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; able to work in multicultural environments.
• Strong understanding of LNG process operations and safety protocols.
