About the role:

As a Nuclear Fuel Mechanical Design Engineer, you will perform routine engineering design analyses using established Westinghouse methodologies to develop new nuclear fuel products and enhance existing ones, focusing on core components.

You will report to the Grids & Core Component Design Manager and be located at Villejust (91) - France. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement of up to 3 days per week onsite.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Work in multifaceted teams focusing on new product development or issue resolution.
2. Initiate and support product testing activities of nuclear fuel and related components. Evaluate and document test results.
3. Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal departments to support design activities.
4. Perform design changes to support manufacturability improvements.
5. Identify and help develop new business opportunities.
6. Develop skills for more independent assignments.

Qualifications:

1. BSc in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical degree.
2. 0+ years of experience.
3. Knowledge of basic engineering principles and techniques.
4. Good teamwork skills.
