A leading engineering firm is seeking a Nuclear Engineer for their client in Cadarache, France. The successful candidate will support the design of nuclear systems in compliance with ITER requirements and be involved in systems engineering activities. A Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience is required. Proficiency in English is essential, while knowledge of simulation tools is advantageous.
We are looking for a Nuclear Engineer in support to our client Fusion for Energy for their location in Cadarache, France.
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at the interview stage).
The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
Support the development of the design of the European TBM systems in compliance with ITER requirements and with codes and standards such as ASME, RCC-MR or RCC-MRx;
Support systems engineering activities providing inputs for interface and requirement management, radiation protection, thermal and pressure load definition and management of operational constraints.

Essential

Bachelor's Degree in engineering (preferably nuclear or process engineering);
At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field;
Experience in the design and manufacturing of pressurized nuclear or chemical systems and components operated at high temperatures;
Experience in the performance of FEM/CFD simulations;
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the EU;
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Advantageous:
Experience in the design by analysis of nuclear systems and components;
Basic knowledge of Matlab or ANSYS, or other similar simulation tools;
Knowledge of French ESP/ESPN regulation.
