IÉSEG School of Management invites applications for non-permanent faculty in Information Systems and related fields. Candidates may hold a PhD or be in the final year, or have a Master’s with strong professional experience. Applications should indicate which courses they can teach.

Lectures are delivered in English or French; non-permanent faculty contribute to course preparation, teaching, and student assessment under the academic director.

Qualifications

• PhD in Information Systems or related field or nearing completion, or professionals with a Master’s and relevant experience.
• Evidence of teaching skills and/or strong professional experience.
• Fluent in English or French; courses may be taught in either language; knowledge of French not required for English speakers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should either hold a PhD in Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Management, or related fields, or be Ph.D. students in their last year, or be professionals with experience in the subject taught and at least a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Management, or related fields. Applicants must also be an expert to teach one of the following courses: Business and Requirements Analysis; Low Code Application Development; Advanced Data Handling; Data Management Systems and Tools; Cloud Data Management; Data Visualization and Communication with Data; Data Policies and Architectures; Data Protection, Law, and Governance; Critical Systems Thinking and Problem Solving; Project Management; and/or Preparing students for the CompTia Data+ Certification.

They are expected to show evidence of teaching skills and/or strong professional experience. The number of teaching hours offered can be compatible with other professional activities.

Applicants should be fluent in English or French as the courses in this program at IÉSEG are taught in one of these languages. For English-speaking applicants, prior knowledge of French is not required.

Non-permanent faculty members are expected to prepare courses, teach and evaluate students, working together under the supervision of the academic director. Experience in teaching is a plus.
