A leading augmented reality company in Gouaux-de-Luchon is seeking a Node.js Developer responsible for managing data interchange between server and users. The role involves designing low-latency applications and integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in software development, particularly with Node.js, TypeScript, and Docker. Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in software development with Node.js.
• Experience with at least one Node.js framework such as NestJS, Express, Koa, or Hapi.
• Familiarity with Docker and its tools.
• Experience with at least one Node.js framework (NestJS, Express, Koa, Hapi)
• Experience in testing and testing techniques
• Comfort with strict linting rules
• Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming principles
• Experience with Docker and related tools
• Experience with caching for high-traffic, public-facing websites
• Experience using Git for source control
• Habit of writing clean, useful documentation
• GraphQL knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of outside-in TDD is a plus
• Experience with Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure) is a plus

Overview

PulpoLabs is looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Integration of data storage solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in software development and in-depth knowledge of Node.js
• Knowledge of ESNext features
• Good knowledge of typing and tools such as TypeScript and Flow
• Experience on at least one Node.JS framework such as NestJS, Express, Koa, Hapi
• Experience in testing and testing techniques
• Feeling comfortable with strict linting rules
• Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming principles
• Experience in Docker and its tools
• Experience in caching for high-traffic, public-facing websites
• Experience in using Git for source control
• Having the habit of writing clean and useful documentation
• Experience on GraphQL is a plus
• Having an idea about outside-in TDD is another plus
• If you have experience with Cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure and managing opensource projects is a great plus
