Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to ensure operations run smoothly, delivering goods safely and on time. This permanent role is 45 hours per week, with Sunday-Thursday shift patterns and start times between 16:00-18:00 at our warehouse in West Yorkshire.

A typical day includes safe driving, adherence to health and safety standards, vehicle checks, trunking runs from the brewery to sites, and drop‑and‑swap trailer movements. Experience and a valid licence are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have 12 months recent driving experience

Responsibilities

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Completing trunking runs from the brewery to various sites such as warehouse feeds for dray operations
• Performing drop‑and‑swap trailer movements
