Job summary

Meta is offering a Neuro-AI internship in its Brain & AI Team in Paris for up to six months. Work focuses on computational neuroscience, neural coding, brain-inspired machine learning, and cognitive modeling.

The role involves developing novel algorithms, analyzing neural data, and translating insights to AI systems, with collaboration across neuroscience and AI researchers and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or completing a Master’s or PhD in neuroscience, ML/AI, CS, or cognitive science.
• Work authorization in France at hire and during employment.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience building ML/DL systems and models.

Responsibilities

• Develop novel neuro-AI algorithms inspired by neuroscience to advance ML techniques.
• Investigate neural representations and dynamics to inform brain-inspired AI systems.
• Perform state-of-the-art research bridging computational neuroscience and AI.
• Analyze neural data and develop models to understand brain function for AI.
• Collaborate across neuroscience, AI, and cross-functional teams, communicating progress.
• Contribute to research applicable to Meta product development.
