Job summary

Noïa Labs in Paris seeks a Machine Learning Scientist to build modeling approaches for non-invasive neural interfaces. You will learn from neural and multimodal time-series data to infer human intent and enable new forms of interaction with AI systems.

This hands-on role spans representation and self-supervised learning, neural decoding, model evaluation, and real-time adaptation, in close collaboration with BCI scientists, ML engineers, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machine learning research or applicable ML research.
• PhD, MS, or equivalent research experience in ML or related fields.
• Strong experience with time-series, multimodal data, or sensor data.

Responsibilities

• Develop new ML methods for neural and multimodal time-series data.
• Design rigorous experiments, benchmarks, and ablations to evaluate models.
• Translate research ideas into prototypes tested on real data and user studies.
• Collaborate with BCI scientists and ML engineers to build reliable training/inference workflows.
