Job summary

Meta's Brain & AI team in Paris is seeking interns passionate about neuro-AI, spanning computational neuroscience, neural coding, and brain-inspired machine learning. Interns will develop core algorithmic advances at scale and apply ideas within real-world AI research.

Applicants should be pursuing a Master’s or PhD, have work authorization for France, and be proficient in Python along with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in a relevant field
• Must obtain work authorization in France at time of hire
• Experience with Python
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Research experience at the intersection of neuroscience and AI
• Demonstrated software engineer experience via internships/open-source contributions
• Track record of grants/fellowships/patents/publications
• Quantitative problem-solving abilities
• Experience working cross-functionally in a team
• Research experience in Computational Neuroscience/Neural data analysis
• Intent to return to degree program after internship
• Experience with neural recording analysis techniques (e.g., electrophysiology, fMRI)
